I started practicing Baptiste yoga in 2001 and immediately fell in love with all that the beautiful practice had to offer. I had been a runner for years and loved a good "sweat' and "hard workout" but my body couldn't really handle the intensity anymore. Yet, through this style of yoga I could still find so many of the same benefits and so so much more. In 2005, I completed my first 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification at Sonic Yoga in NYC where I taught full time at several studios (after I left my stressful and unfulfilling career in Banking). In 2007, I attended Level 1 training with Baron Baptiste as well as many other trainings since with this amazing teacher. I have also practiced with and sought the guidance of David Magone, Rolf Gates, Beryl Bender Birch, Bryan Kest as well as David and Sharon Gannon of Jivamukti Yoga. It has been a dream of mine for a long time to open my own studio and share my passion for yoga with as many people as possible. When I am not on the mat I am spending time with my two amazing children and super supportive husband.

Kerri has been a student and teacher of yoga for over 15 years. She received her certification through Kim Valeri, YogaSpirit Studios in 2001. Kerri has done various other trainings with Cyndi Lee, Baron Baptiste & Shiva Rea. Her style is a blend of form and power and is occasionally humorous, always fluid and hopefully fun! She fell in love with yoga when she quickly saw a transformation in her health after only practicing a short time. Passing on what she has learned and loved about yoga is truly a gift!
Tonya has been teaching dance, barre, and yoga in her hometown of Marblehead for over 15 years. Her years of dance experience and love for fitness have allowed her to combine her two favorite things, grace and power, into her teaching style. Yoga inspires her to share the beauty of movement and athleticism, while achieving your best self. Tonya completed her 200 hour teaching certification at Empower Yoga in Beverly, MA with Tricia Porter and Elizabeth Huntsman. Tonya is Barre Certified through Exhale. Her goal is always to teach with an attitude of gratitude.

Kristan worked in the fitness industry as a Wellness Specialist for over ten years before leaving Boston to raise her three children in Marblehead. Kristan is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. After completing her training with Gregor Singleton and Claire Estes McDonald she also studied with Jason Crandall completing his Essentials of Yoga Anatomy curriculum.
As a teacher, Kristan favors a vigorous practice with a strong emphasis on both breathe, and compassionate action; providing a balanced mind/body connection. Her sequencing and style have been influenced by Baptiste Power Yoga and follow a dynamic and powerful balance of strength and flexibility. With her unique and gentle sense of calm, Kristan imparts a peaceful, serene atmosphere in the studio. Thus allowing each student to cultivate physical strength, along with emotional balance and clarity. She hopes to inspire courage, grace and a desire to live wholeheartedly on and off the mat.
Kristan's yoga journey has been guided by Patanjali's quote, "When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bounds. Your mind transcends limitations, your conscious expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Danielle has been practicing yoga for twenty years and teaching it for almost ten.She teaches many different styles of yoga to all ages and levels. A love for yoga has inspired her to share this practice with everyone. Danielle has three 200 hour certifications, one in Baptiste Power Yoga, one in Prana Vayu and a third with Anahata Yoga. Danielle melds all of her trainings into a warm, powerful style that can be expressed through power, vinyasa or restorative yoga depending on who shows up on their mat that day.
From the first time Maki walked into the Baptiste yoga studio in 2001, she quickly fell in love with the practice and became a dedicated practitioner and a yoga enthusiast. It still amazes her how quiet the mind becomes in the midst of challenging movements when the breath is connected to the body. She has always been interested in the mind body connection and wants to share her passion for yoga and its benefits with others.
Maki has completed 200hr Yoga Alliance teacher training at the Embody Yoga in Amherst with Patty Townsend and the Empower yoga in Beverly with Tricia Philpott, as well as the in-house teacher training at the Baptiste studio with Gregor Singleton and Claire Este-McDonald. She also has taken Level 1 & 2 teacher training with Baron Baptiste. She likes to teach a challenging flow with focus on alignments in a joyful yet calming environment. Born and raised in Japan, and having practiced Buddhism growing up, Maki brings a sense of zen into her life and to her yoga.
Along with yoga, she enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, learning about nutrition and natural health, and spending time with her two wonderful daughters and a supportive husband.
Caroline has been continually practicing yoga for over 15 years. During those years, her professional life has been dedicated to teaching, with a focus on special education. Caroline attributes her yoga practice as a key principle towards maintaining a peaceful and calming approach to working with students; whether teaching adult non readers in San Francisco in the mid 1990's or working with children in the special education field at various elementary schools in Marblehead. Now Caroline’s love of teaching and passion for yoga have come together!

As a yoga instructor, her style has a focus on the smooth, firing energy of a challenging "power" class while also being nurturing and tranquil.
